For beginner–intermediate potters
This 5-week course is for people who already have some wheel-throwing experience and are ready to build confidence and extend their skills.

We’ll work with larger amounts of clay, explore new shapes, and pay closer attention to form and proportion. You’ll learn how to make jugs, refine and attach handles, and become more confident shaping your pots — both while throwing and at the leather-hard trimming stage.

When it comes to glazing, we’ll focus on glaze layering and improving application techniques to help you create more considered, individual surfaces.

The course includes clay and firings for your first four finished pieces. Any additional items can be fired for a fee of $15 per piece.
