At Island View Pottery we love nothing better than getting our hands dirty and making things! We offer pottery workshops and classes for people of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide an engaging, friendly environment for people to explore their creativity; learn new skills and enjoy each other's company.

Bring your friends or team mates for a get together with a difference.
Our social Workshops are about creating your own unique artwork in a fun, friendly atmosphere!
Each session has a theme and you are welcome to follow along with or go your own way and make something completely different.
During the 2 hours you can expect to make and decorate your unique piece of pottery.
Your piece will be fired with clear glaze ready for pick up at a later date (3-4 weeks).

Wheel and Wine
Fun with family and friends
Book in for a memorable experience with friends, fun, creativity and clay!
This is perfect for beginners and is all about having fun and giving pottery on the wheel a go.You will get 2 goes on the wheel to make your vessels. You then choose your favorite pot to keep and we will fire and glaze it for you in a choice of 3 colours.
Bring a bottle of your favorite tipple and some sweet and salty snacks too for a relaxed playful experience.

$75 per person
Your pots will be ready for pickup approx. 3 weeks after
* Please drink responsibly. We will not teach intoxicated people.
Wheel Throwing Taster Session
Learn to throw on the wheel
Experience the joys of throwing on the potters wheel. Bring your partner or a friend for a fun wheel throwing taster class. Perfect for total beginners- learn the basics of throwing in this unique taster session. You can choose your favorite pot to be bisque and glaze fired, ready for pickup at a later date.

Private Potting Course
Realise your vision
This option is perfect for potters at any level who want to come to class at a time that suite them and work on a specific project or skill.
Perhaps you want to learn to throw, or have a desire to make cat planters or a garden sculpture! whatever your project we will help you bring it to fruition.
